Insurance Claims Tips
1. Hire an attorney or public adjuster. These professionals work for you and the extra 10% they charge will be well worth it.
2. Contact your insurance company immediately to start the process. Temporary housing funds should be made available and starting ASAP means your claim will be settled faster.
3. Speak as little as possible. Giving too much information might cost you. Let your representative handle it.
4. Hiring your own remediaton company will ensure your best interest in being represented. Don't use the insurance company's remediation company since they would work for the interest of the insurance company.
